Most recently, Nancy was Head of Talent & Audience Development at HarperCollins Publishers, where she served on the publishing board and developed titles that became instant Sunday Times Bestsellers. In 2020, she was named a Bookseller Rising Star, and the following year she was listed among the 150 most influential people in UK publishing.

In 2022, Nancy transitioned into consulting to further pursue her vision of democratising storytelling. Her projects include co-curating the UK’s largest celebration of contemporary African literature in partnership with the British Library, serving on the editorial board of Bloomsbury Publishing’s latest imprint, judging a six-figure writer’s prize with Simon & Schuster, facilitating an international writing workshop with Afreximbank, running author development programmes with The Commonwealth Foundation, and leading storytelling projects with companies including Meta, Twitter, and Spotify.

Her work has been featured in The Guardian, the BBC, HuffPost, and Harper’s Bazaar, and she recently delivered a keynote on the future of cultural storytelling at the University of Cambridge.

Before moving into publishing, Nancy started her career with the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, and led strategic partnerships at TEDxEuston. She holds an MSc in Leadership and Development from King's College London, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Queen Mary, University of London.
